Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants Holds Extraordinary General Meeting and 69th Anniversary Ceremony
The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants (KICPA) announced on the 7th that it will hold an extraordinary general meeting and the 69th anniversary ceremony at the 63 Convention Center in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 11th.
At the extraordinary general meeting, a complete revision of the KICPA bylaws, which were last professionally amended in 1997, will be presented and processed to systematically update them in line with the times. Following this, at the 69th anniversary ceremony, awards will be presented to trainee CPAs who have achieved excellent practical training results.
In his anniversary address, KICPA President Kim Young-sik stated, "The growth and development of the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants is thanks to the passion and dedication of all members," adding, "As we enter the year-end audit season, please focus on 'integrity audits' while also being strict yet warm auditors who can help resolve the difficulties faced by companies."
