Gwanak-gu Supplies 45 Purchase Rental Housing Units for Youth and Newlywed Couples

Final winners announced in March next year, move-in possible from April to June
Recently, amid high inflation, a series of jeonse fraud cases have occurred, increasing residents' anxiety about housing stability. In particular, young people and newlyweds are facing various social issues, such as delaying marriage and childbirth plans due to concerns about the future.
In response, Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) is collaborating with Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH) to provide ‘customized purchase rental housing’ to support stable housing environments for young people and newlyweds and to alleviate their economic burdens.
The district will recruit tenants for 45 newly supplied purchase rental housing units from December 8 to December 18.
The housing units supplied this time are located in three places: ▲‘Cheongchun Gaok 2nd Branch’ (Beobwondanji 16-gil 11) and ‘Natureville’ (Beobwondanji 10-gil 49) targeting youth, and ▲‘Raon’ (Beobwondanji 18-gil 11) targeting newlyweds.
The youth housing ‘Cheongchun Gaok 2nd Branch’ and ‘Natureville’ are five stories above ground, with 17 units each available for occupancy.
The exclusive area per unit ranges from 26 to 38㎡, and residents can use a shared community room (one location), one elevator, and parking spaces (6 to 8 spots).
The rental deposit ranges from 17.19 million KRW to 43.95 million KRW, and the monthly rent ranges from 177,000 KRW to 452,000 KRW. Residents can live for up to 10 years if they maintain eligibility.
The newlywed housing ‘Raon’ is six stories above ground, with a total of 11 units available.
The exclusive area per unit ranges from 29 to 57㎡, and residents can use a shared community room (one location), one elevator, and eight parking spaces. The community room is specially designed as a shared childcare space.
The rental deposit ranges from 21.24 million KRW to 61.95 million KRW, and the monthly rent ranges from 218,000 KRW to 638,000 KRW. Residents can live for up to 20 years if they maintain eligibility.
The application period is from December 8 to 6 p.m. on December 18. Applications for youth housing should be submitted via email to the Youth Policy Division of Gwanak-gu Office, and applications for newlywed housing should be submitted via email to the Welfare Division of Gwanak-gu Office.
The district will fairly review income, assets, and duration of residence in Gwanak-gu and announce the final winners in March next year. The final winners can move in between April and June next year.
