Choo Kyung-ho Discusses Economic and Financial Dialogue and Investment Cooperation with UK Chancellor of the Exchequer
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Choo Kyung-ho held a virtual meeting with Jeremy Hunt, the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, to discuss economic and financial dialogue between the two countries and the establishment of investment cooperation channels.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, on the 5th, Deputy Prime Minister Choo held a virtual meeting with the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer at the Government Seoul Office.
Deputy Prime Minister Choo expressed optimism about the growing cooperation potential between the two countries following the recent state visit to the UK commemorating the 140th anniversary of Korea-UK diplomatic relations, highlighting expectations for cooperation potential in energy, supply chains, and advanced science and technology sectors.
He also requested the UK Treasury's interest and cooperation to ensure that the newly established economic and financial dialogue between the two ministries of finance can be held within next year.
