Damyang-gun Hosts '2023 Damyang Meta Music Festival'
Busy Preparing a Joyful Christmas Party with EDM Performances
Damyang-gun is busy preparing festivals to attract tourists during the winter, which is the off-season for tourism.
On the 5th, Jeonnam Damyang-gun announced that from the 23rd to the 25th, the 2023 Damyang Meta Music Festival will be held for three days under the theme of "The Fifth Christmas Party with Santa" at Damyang Metaprovence and the original downtown area.
To this end, the county installed nightscape lighting to create a Christmas atmosphere around Metaland and Central Park.
Also, unique photo zones and Christmas props have been placed throughout the festival site to prepare for winter tourists.
This music festival has set up the main stage along Damyang Metasequoia Road.
The festival will begin with an opening performance featuring a brass band street parade and a drone laser show.
On the 23rd and 24th, the festival will be filled with exciting EDM (electronic dance music) performances by Haiki, Fromis_9, WEi, EXID, Norazo, Koyote, DJ Park Myungsoo, DJ Rally, DJ Hendolfin, and DJ Chunja.
On the 25th, trot performances by Park Guyoon, Yoyomi, Seo Jio, and stages by local singers will be held for families to enjoy together.
In addition, various Christmas experience programs and the event "Beat Santa!" have been prepared for family tourists, and a space to promote and sell Damyang’s excellent agricultural specialties has also been arranged.
Furthermore, the entire Damyang-gun area will be filled with a year-end atmosphere with carols through events such as "Find the Santa King" held at Soarte Complex Art Village, street performances at Central Park, and the LP Music Recharge Station event.
