Samsung Card Conducts Regular Executive Personnel Changes... 6 Promotions
Samsung Card promoted one executive to vice president and five to managing director through its regular executive personnel appointments.
On the 5th, Samsung Card announced that it had conducted the 2024 regular executive personnel appointments.
Hwang Seong-won, head of Samsung Card's Digital Innovation Office, who was promoted to vice president, was born in 1971. After graduating from Yeongdong High School, he earned a bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Yonsei University, and master's degrees in Structural Engineering and Statistics from Columbia University in the United States. He joined Samsung Card in 2002 and has held positions such as managing director of Management Support and managing director of the Digital Innovation Office.
Samsung Card explained, "We conducted promotions to strengthen business competitiveness by selecting leaders with performance creation capabilities and growth potential regardless of age or gender, to build a foundation for future growth and enhance responsiveness to an uncertain management environment."
Samsung Card plans to finalize and announce organizational restructuring and personnel appointments soon.
