FSS and Hangonghoe Hold 2023 Accounting Issues Briefing Session
The Financial Supervisory Service announced on the 5th that it will hold the 2023 Accounting Issues Briefing Session with the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The briefing session, to be held on the 18th at the Financial Supervisory Service in Yeouido, Seoul, will provide guidance on current accounting supervision issues, future supervisory directions, major findings and precautions from the 2023 accounting reviews and audits.
Additionally, it will cover key topics such as the 2024 focused audit accounting issues, major deficiencies found in the 2023 auditor inspections, revisions to the auditor designation system, and important considerations when appointing auditors. The session will also serve as an opportunity to gather various opinions, including suggestions from the accounting industry related to audit work and accounting systems.

The Financial Supervisory Service will notify its members of the briefing session through the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants and will accept applications for participation.
