Busan City and Korea Asset Management Corporation Sign Business Agreement for the Construction of 'Busan Women Plaza'

Creation of Women's Activity Complex Space, Total Project Cost 81.9 Billion KRW, Completion Targeted for 2029
On the 5th at 10:30 AM, Busan City will sign a business agreement with the Korea Asset Management Corporation (President Kwon Nam-ju) at the City Hall International Protocol Room for the '(tentative name) Busan Women’s Plaza Construction Project.'
This agreement was prepared to actively utilize the expertise of the Korea Asset Management Corporation, a specialized entrusted development institution, and to promote the project through mutual cooperation with Busan City, as the 'Busan Women’s Plaza Construction Project,' a long-cherished project of Busan’s women’s community, is being promoted through an entrusted development method.
The '(tentative name) Busan Women’s Plaza Construction Project' involves rebuilding the aging Busan Women’s Hall, with a total project cost of 81.9 billion KRW and aims for completion in 2029.
The main facilities will be developed as a complex cultural space reflecting citizens’ opinions, including spaces for women’s capacity development, women and family relaxation areas, and a historical space for Busan women.
At the signing ceremony, Mayor Park Hyung-joon and President Kwon Nam-ju of the Korea Asset Management Corporation will attend in person as representatives of the contracting institutions to pledge mutual cooperation for the smooth promotion of the 'Busan Women’s Plaza Entrusted Development Project.'
Once the agreement is signed, ▲ Busan City will actively carry out administrative procedures such as feasibility studies and investment reviews related to project promotion, and ▲ the Korea Asset Management Corporation will provide development project consultation and necessary materials during the administrative procedure process.
Additionally, the two institutions will actively cooperate on matters requiring collaboration for the construction of the Busan Women’s Plaza and will operate a working-level consultative body between the institutions for efficient implementation.
