Certification from Alconsa
Bright Eye Clinic 21 Hospital (Chief Director Kim Deok-bae) announced on the 4th that it received a certification plaque from Alcon, a global ophthalmic medical device company, for achieving 4,000 cases of WaveLight EX500 One-Step LASEK StreamLight procedures.
As of 2022, it was selected as one of the five hospitals nationwide that performed 4,000 StreamLight (One-Step LASEK) procedures using Alcon's WaveLight EX500.

In particular, it was the only hospital south of the Seoul metropolitan area to receive this award, firmly establishing itself as a leading ophthalmology hospital in the field of vision correction.
Alcon's StreamLight is a one-step LASEK surgery method that removes the corneal epithelium and simultaneously ablates the corneal stroma using only a laser. Since the entire process is performed with a laser, the surgery is precise and safe. Compared to conventional LASEK, the surgery time is shorter, pain is less, and recovery is faster, reducing the burden of surgery.
