Kumho Tire Wins 2023 CGD Award Main Prize in China
Kumho Tire announced on the 4th that it received the main prize at the 2023 CGD Awards.
The awarded product is the electric vehicle-exclusive tire, ECSTA PS71 EV.
The CGD Award (Contemporary Good Design Award) was jointly established in 2015 by Germany's Red Dot, one of the four major international design awards, and Xiamen Wenguang Media Group.
Utilizing over 60 years of Red Dot's experience in operating international design awards and design resources, entries are judged with professionalism, solemnity, and authority in accordance with international standards.
The ECSTA PS71 EV was designed by Kumho Tire to meet the growing demand in the Chinese electric vehicle market.
By leveraging Kumho Tire's CAE (Computer Aided Engineering), AI Optimum Design, and Virtual Test technologies, this product optimizes the most important factors for electric vehicle tires: high load-bearing performance, wear resistance, and noise reduction performance.
