Jeonnam Fire Department Deploys 'Support Vehicles' to Aid On-Site Crew Mental and Physical Recovery
Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Hong Young-geun) announced on the 3rd that it has purchased and deployed a 'Recovery Support Vehicle' to help firefighters quickly recover and stabilize their mental and physical condition at large disaster sites.
The Recovery Support Vehicle is a specially modified bus designed by actively reflecting employees' opinions to allow firefighters who have been deployed for long hours at disaster sites to rest and stabilize.
The vehicle is equipped with ▲20 resting seats ▲a cooking area for hydration and calorie replenishment ▲heating and cooling facilities ▲folding chairs, tables, and a simple washbasin to enhance employee convenience.
Jeonnam Fire operates three Recovery Support Vehicles by region, including the newly deployed one, and also requests support from the nearby Central 119 Rescue Headquarters Honam Special Rescue Team's Recovery Support Vehicle when necessary.
