Haeoreum Alliance Tourism Working Council Unveils 'Tourist Attraction Promotional Video' and 'Influencer Music Video'
Full-Scale Promotion of Pohang, Ulsan, and Gyeongju City Attractions Begins with KTX and Seoul Subway Station Advertisements Until
The ‘Haeoreum Alliance Tourism Working Council,’ a tourism working body of the three cities of Pohang, Ulsan, and Gyeongju, has produced and released a promotional video for Haeoreum Alliance tourism.
This promotional video was created in two types: the ‘Haeoreum Alliance Tourist Attraction Promotional Video’ and a ‘Y2K Concept Music Video Using Influencers.’
First, the tourist attraction promotional video introduces the diverse and attractive tourist spots of the three Haeoreum Alliance cities, famous as sunrise spots on the east coast of the Korean Peninsula.
The video features ▲(Pohang) Homigot Hand of Coexistence, Space Walk, Igari Anchor Observatory, Yeongildae Beach, Guryongpo Japanese House Street, Jukdo Market, Cheongha Gongjin Market ▲(Ulsan) Whale Culture Special Zone, Taehwa River National Garden, Yeongnam Alps, Daewangam Park, Seuldo Island, Ganjeolgot ▲(Gyeongju) Hwangridan-gil, Cheomseongdae, Daereungwon, Bulguksa Temple, Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, capturing the stunning landscapes and food of the three cities that captivate tourists.
The music video features nostalgic singers Mr. Two’s Lee Min-kyu, Cool’s Lee Sung-soo, and R.F’s Lee Sung-wook, who sing the Haeoreum Alliance tourism theme song full of Y2K charm against the backdrop of representative tourist sites in each city, joyfully introducing travel in the Haeoreum Alliance.
These videos will be broadcast throughout December on KTX trains and at four major lines of the Seoul subway. They will also be available online through official social media (SNS) and YouTube channels operated by each local government.
Park Sang-jin, Director of the Convention and Tourism Industry Division, said, “Through this promotional video, we expect to promote the representative tourism content and attractions of the three Haeoreum Alliance cities, which have the east coast’s iconic sunrise spots, nationwide. We hope many people will have a happy time traveling in the Haeoreum Alliance cities, which are even more attractive in winter.”

The Haeoreum Alliance Tourism Working Council was formed in August 2016, following the opening of the Pohang-Ulsan Expressway, by the three cities of Pohang, Ulsan, and Gyeongju, which are historically and culturally closely connected living areas. Since then, it has been promoting various win-win cooperative joint projects annually to strengthen the Haeoreum tourism brand.
