Kim Dae-gi on Administrative Network Error: "Bold Investment Needed... Budget Reflection Required"
Kim Dae-gi, Chief of Staff to the President, stated on the 3rd at the high-level meeting of the ruling party, government, and the presidency held at the Prime Minister's residence in Samcheong-dong, regarding the national administrative network error incident, "Everything stems from the lack of proper investment in the past administrative network, so bold investment must be made from now on."
Chief Kim said, "There was an issue that caused concern among the public due to the national administrative network not functioning properly. Experts point to three reasons: aging components, immature software, and vulnerability to external intrusion."
He continued, "For areas that require continuous financial resources, please promptly finalize the plans and reflect them in next year's budget even during this regular National Assembly session."
Regarding the violation of the deadline for the National Assembly's budget bill processing, he said, "The legal deadline for processing this year's budget bill has passed, and the processing of bills is also delayed," adding, "Since the budget and laws must be finalized for the direction of next year's national administration to be determined, the National Assembly should swiftly conclude these matters."

Chief Kim explained about President Yoon Seok-yeol's state visit to the Netherlands next week, "Although domestic political circumstances are unfavorable, it will be a good opportunity for advanced technology cooperation and the recovery of the people's economy."
