Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Encourages the 1st Mapo Mayor's Cup Billiards Tournament
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the venue on the morning of the 2nd to congratulate the opening of the '1st Mapo District Mayor's Cup Billiards Tournament' held at Seongsan Billiards Hall.
Hosted by Mapo District and the Mapo District Sports Council, and organized by the Mapo District Billiards Federation, the tournament was attended by about 150 participants and officials, adding prestige to the event.
The opening ceremony of the day proceeded with the awarding of commendations to meritorious persons by Mayor Park Gang-su, an encouragement speech, and an oath by the players' representative. Following this, the billiards matches among the participants began at 9:30 a.m.

In his encouragement speech, Mayor Park Gang-su said, "I am very pleased and honored to open the first edition of this tournament together with all of you who love billiards," adding, "I hope this tournament will serve as an opportunity to foster harmony and friendship among the players, and Mapo District will also support the further development of billiards as a sport for everyday life."
