Woori Bank Wins 'Best Bank in Korea' Award at The Banker Banking Awards Ceremony
Woori Bank announced on the 3rd that it received the Best Bank in South Korea award at the ‘2023 Bank of the Year Awards’ held by the global financial magazine The Banker at the Sheraton Hotel in London, UK, on the 30th (local time).
This is the fifth time the bank has won the award. Woori Bank won consecutively from 2016 to 2018 for three years and in 2020 became the first domestic bank to sweep the global, Asia, and Korea categories.
The Banker highly evaluated Woori Bank for supporting digital transformation for small and medium-sized enterprise customers after the COVID-19 pandemic and providing the financial platform ‘Won Biz Plaza,’ as well as implementing financial support policies such as the Woori Win-Win Finance 3·3 Package for all customer groups, including financially vulnerable groups.
