Side Dishes, Love Fund, Neighbor Helping... Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters Receives Minister of Health and Welfare Commendation for Spreading Sharing
Awarded at the 12th Korea Sharing National Awards
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Kwang-hoon) received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the 12th Korea Sharing National Awards.
Held on the 30th, the Korea Sharing National Awards were co-hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Community Chest of Korea, and KBS, recognizing individuals, organizations, and companies that contributed to spreading the culture of sharing in local communities.
The Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters was commended for its achievements in the corporate material sharing sector. Through the Community Chest of Korea, the headquarters donated 490 million KRW this year and approximately 790 million KRW in 2022. Major contribution projects include supporting side dish sharing volunteer activities, sponsoring youth recovery centers, and donating funds to help underprivileged neighbors.
Employee participation in donations was also actively carried out. The Love Fund is a donation fund created through voluntary contributions from employees. The employees of Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters have practiced sharing throughout local communities by donating more than 100 million KRW annually.
