Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Attracts Group Tourists from Chinese High Schools

View original imageThe Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization, has successfully attracted group tourists from China.
On the 30th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that a youth group consisting of 140 people, including students and accompanying teachers from Yizheng High School in Jiangsu Province (江蘇省), a sister cooperative region of Gyeonggi-do in China, will visit Korea for a 4-night, 5-day trip from the 29th of this month to the 3rd of next month.
During their 3-night stay at Yongin Hanwha Resort, they will participate in various cultural tourism experiences such as ▲ a tour of Dankook University in Yongin ▲ a visit to Hyeonhwa High School in Pyeongtaek ▲ Korea-China youth cultural exchange ▲ a visit and experience at the Gyeonggi-do National Safety Experience Center (located in Osan) ▲ a historical site tour of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress ▲ and kimchi and hanbok experiences at Haechan Songhak Kim in Goyang.

Jo Wonyong, president of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, stated, "To further strengthen the future friendly relations between Korea and China, it is very important for youth to broaden their understanding of the other country and grow with a friendly image through extensive exchanges during their youth." He added, "We will continue to actively attract more youth educational travel groups to Gyeonggi-do through various exchange collaborations with sister and friendly regions."
