Sungshin Women's University President Lee Seong-geun Receives 'ICSB Global Leadership & Excellence Award'

President Lee was recognized for her contributions to the development of the domestic and international entrepreneurship sector, including hosting an international conference on women's entrepreneurship, and received the award on the 20th. Kim Ki-chan, ICSB President (Professor of Business Administration at Catholic University), and Ayman Tarabishy, ICSB Secretary General (Professor of Business Administration at The George Washington University, USA), personally visited Sungshin Women's University Sujeong Campus to present the award.
Ayman Tarabishy, ICSB Secretary General, stated, "Sungshin Women's University was established during the Japanese colonial period by founder Ri Sook-jong with an indomitable will toward women's education and society. It is an educational institution where the true spirit of a female educator and female entrepreneur is realized." He added, "We hope that Sungshin Women's University, ICSB, and The George Washington University will jointly research the entrepreneurial spirit and history of Korean women and continue active mutual exchanges."
