Moorim Unveils 2024 Low-Carbon Black-and-White Calendar
Pulp, paper, and new material manufacturer Murim announced on the 30th that it has launched the ‘2024 Muhyehan Calendar’.
Every year, Murim introduces the ‘Muhyehan Calendar,’ which uses no plastic in the calendar paper, easel, binding rings, and packaging envelopes, applying only eco-friendly paper to promote the sustainability of the paper industry. The 2024 calendar reduces unnecessary ink usage by applying ‘single-color black printing’ on low-carbon certified paper. This is intended to convey the values of carbon neutrality and resource circulation.
The newly released ‘2024 Muhyehan Calendar’ by Murim uses Murim’s eco-friendly paper certified for ‘recyclability,’ ‘low-carbon product certification,’ and ‘biodegradability certification.’ To simplify the bleaching process during recycling, only one color is used and separate coating processes are excluded. Due to this approach, all holidays and commemorative days on the calendar had to be marked in black and white, but prioritizing the calendar’s inherent functionality, typography-based design was implemented to enhance readability.
