Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) conducted a small-scale simulation training on the afternoon of the 29th at the auditorium of Guro-gu Public Health Center to minimize losses and strengthen the capabilities of response personnel in the event of a bioterrorism incident in 2023.

This training was attended by more than 30 officials from related organizations including Guro-gu Public Health Center, Guro Police Station, Guro Fire Station, and Korea University Guro Hospital, as well as responsible public officials. The program included ▲a theoretical lecture on bioterrorism infectious diseases (Professor Kim Woo-joo, Infection Control Office, Korea University Guro Hospital) ▲practical training on donning and doffing personal protective equipment (Level A) and decontamination (Fire Lieutenant Park Sung-kyu, Guro Fire Station) ▲practical training on donning and doffing personal protective equipment (Level C), multi-detection kit usage, and packaging and transport of containers (Epidemiological Investigators Kim Young-jun and Han Woo-seok, Guro-gu Public Health Center).
