On the 28th, Gumi City in Gyeongbuk held a tree lighting ceremony in front of the circular flower bed at City Hall, attended by Mayor Kim Jang-ho, City Council Chairman Ahn Joo-chan, President Cho Min-sang of the Gumi Christian Federation, and many citizens.

Along with the lighting ceremony, the CTS Deaconess Choir performed Christmas carols as a congratulatory performance.
Mayor Kim Jang-ho said, “Through the tree lighting, we hope to brightly illuminate the whole world, share hope with 410,000 citizens, and wish that everyone has a happy year in the new year.”

The tree will be lit daily from sunset until 11 PM and is expected to beautifully illuminate City Hall until the end of January next year.
