Haitai Confectionery announced on the 29th that it will release limited edition seaweed snacks shaped like Jumeokbap Kungya called 'Guun Jumeokbap' and 'Guun Yangpa,' packaged with Yangpa Kungya.

This is the first time the baked series snacks have met the characters from 'Kungya Restaurants,' which have a dedicated fandom. Guun Jumeokbap is made in a ball shape, inspired by Jumeokbap Kungya. The round corn snack is embedded with seaweed flakes, capturing not only the shape but also the taste of Jumeokbap. The surface is coated with savory seaweed seasoning and sprinkled with seaweed flakes, so the first bite delivers the salty flavor of seaweed, followed by the nutty taste of corn.
According to the company, Guun Yangpa contains the highest amount of onion among domestic onion snacks. It uses 100% onions from Muan, Jeollanam-do, grown in yellow soil, which have less spiciness and a stronger sweetness.
