Naju-si Holds 'Disabled Activity Support Agency Meeting'

On the 27th, Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Yoon Byung-tae) held a meeting with more than 100 people including representatives of organizations supporting disabled activities and activity supporters, the city announced on the 28th.

At the meeting, Mayor Yoon encouraged the efforts of those who worked hard for local disabled people throughout the year.

Support for disabled activities is a project that supports the independence and social participation of disabled people who have difficulty living daily and social lives alone.

The city has designated three activity assistance centers and one visiting bath center, providing services to 380 people.

In particular, at this meeting, case-centered job training was conducted to eradicate fraudulent claims in disabled activity support and to improve service quality, providing practical tips. Afterwards, a dinner time was held to facilitate communication among activity supporters.

The activity supporters who attended the meeting unanimously said, “We were able to share various information, deepen mutual understanding, and have a time of harmony through this opportunity.”

Mayor Yoon Byung-tae said, “I sincerely thank the activity supporters and related organization officials who worked hard to improve the quality of life for disabled people and reduce the burden on their families this year as well,” and added, “I hope you will do your best to provide high-quality services for the social independence of disabled people next year.”
