Cheongsong-gun and Juwangsan National Park Sign MOU for Mutual Cooperation to Promote Carbon Neutrality and Regional Development
On the 27th, Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Juwangsan National Park Office in the first conference room of the county office to promote mutual cooperation for carbon neutrality and regional development.

The agreement includes joint cooperation on mutual projects for carbon neutrality in Cheongsong-gun, promotion of Juwangsan National Park, activation of the Oxygen Cafe Cheongsong-gun brand, and establishment of a carbon-neutral oxygen bus infrastructure in Cheongsong-gun.
The county was selected for the "2024 Nakdong River Basin Special Support Public Contest Project" through the "Cheongsong-gun Carbon Neutral Oxygen Bus Distribution Project," with active support from the Juwangsan National Park Office during the process.
Based on this experience, the county plans to build a closer cooperative relationship in the future by mutually recognizing the value of Juwangsan National Park, a key resource of the county, to realize carbon neutrality and promote sustainable regional development.

Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, "Through this agreement, we will actively strive to revitalize eco-tourism centered on Juwangsan and widely promote the value of the natural environment to overcome various environmental crises such as climate change."
