He invested 7 billion KRW to build the Nam-gu Senior Happiness Center as a dedicated space for seniors, providing high-quality leisure welfare services. Additionally, he has been highly evaluated for greatly contributing to the revitalization of senior centers by providing additional support every year for unique leisure programs tailored to Nam-gu’s diverse demands.
He was also recognized for actively implementing various leisure and cultural facilities such as the Smart Senior Center construction project, a playground exclusively for seniors, and the Senior Barista Experience Center, as well as expanding job opportunities for the elderly.
Moreover, to ensure a healthy old age for seniors, since October 2021, he has established a visiting cognitive care service in collaboration with three customized care service agencies. Especially since last September, to eliminate medical blind spots for seniors with mobility difficulties, he pioneered the nationwide establishment of a non-face-to-face medical infrastructure in cooperation with local hospitals, pharmacies, and day care centers, enabling seniors to receive high-quality medical services, which has significantly raised the level of senior welfare.
