Graduate Students of Counseling Psychology at Dongmyeong University Win Awards at the Korean Health Psychology Association Conference
Graduate students from the Department of Counseling Psychology at Dongmyung University received awards such as the Best Poster Paper Award at the Korean Society of Health Psychology Fall Conference held over two days from the 24th to the 25th.
Doctoral student Seongjin Lee submitted a paper titled "The Effects of a Short-term Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Program on Aggression, Impulsivity, and Self-Control in Adolescents with Conduct Disorder" at this conference and received the Best Poster Paper Award.
Additionally, master's student Sujin Kim won the Best Oral Presentation Award with a paper titled "The Effects of Metaverse Acceptance and Commitment Therapy on Anxiety in College Students with Presentation Anxiety."

Starting in 2024, the Department of Counseling Psychology at Dongmyung University will be renamed the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology. The department plans to produce experts not only in counseling but also in clinical psychology, meeting the social demand for counseling and clinical psychology required in various fields.

They will operate an integrated bachelor's and master's program that allows students to obtain both degrees within five years, aiming to cultivate talent aligned with practical social changes and technological innovations. Currently, the Department of Counseling Psychology offers both master's and doctoral programs.
