Fire at Busan Jung-gu Daycare Center... 72 Evacuated
A fire broke out at a daycare center located in Busan, causing children and teachers to evacuate.
On the 27th at around 2:59 PM, a worker was performing welding work to install a partition on the rooftop of a daycare center in Jung-gu, Busan, when the fire started.
Firefighters who arrived extinguished the fire within 20 minutes by removing the sparks on the rooftop wall.
According to the Fire Department, the smoke did not enter the interior of the building. Property damage is estimated to be around 2 million KRW.
Due to the fire, 72 people including children and teachers at the daycare center were startled and evacuated outside the building.
