R&D Challenges Resolution and Support Efforts United
The Korea Women Venture Association announced on the 27th that it signed a "Business Agreement for Supporting Technology Development and Strengthening Capabilities of Women Venture Companies" with the Korea Photonics Technology Institute on the 24th at the Gyeonggi Photonics Convergence Technology Center of the Korea Photonics Technology Institute.

This business agreement was promoted with the shared intention of both organizations to support new technology development and resolve research and development (R&D) difficulties for women venture companies.
The main contents include testing and analysis for R&D projects and product certification of women venture companies, support and consulting for overseas expansion of women venture companies possessing photonics convergence products, and operation of programs for research and educational cooperation.
Going forward, both organizations plan to establish a service system for major certifications specified in the agreement and actively work on promotion and discovering demand companies.
The business agreement ceremony was attended by Yoon Mi-ok, President of the Korea Women Venture Association, Shin Yong-jin, President of the Korea Photonics Technology Institute, as well as key officials from both organizations.

President Yoon said, "The domestic and international market environment is rapidly changing, and stricter standards for technology and products are being demanded," adding, "I hope that collaboration with the Korea Photonics Technology Institute will help strengthen the technological competitiveness of women venture companies and establish a foundation for sustainable growth."
