Kim Itaek, Samsung Electronics Vice President, Appointed as New President of Samsung Venture Investment
Samsung Venture Investment announced on the 27th that it has carried out its regular executive personnel reshuffle for 2024 and appointed Kim Itaek, Vice President of Samsung Electronics, as the new CEO.
President Kim previously served as the Director of International Finance at the Ministry of Strategy and Finance. After joining Samsung Electronics in 2016 as an IR executive, he held positions such as Head of the Strategy Group in the Management Support Office and Head of the Global Communication Group. He is currently serving as the Head of External Cooperation Team and Head of the Global Media Group at Samsung Electronics.
Samsung Venture Investment stated, "Based on President Kim's experience in the financial sector and extensive network, we expect him to continuously grow Samsung Venture Investment into a global top-tier CVC."
