Opening of Reservation System for Korea's Only Autonomous Tractor Test Drive Experience Space
Experience Space at Dongbu Mega Center, Gimcheon-si, Gyeongbuk... Test Drive Available to Everyone
LS Mtron announced on the 27th that it has opened a reservation system for the only autonomous operation tractor test drive experience space in Korea.
LS Mtron established an approximately 900-pyeong tractor test drive experience space at the Dongbu Mega Center in Gimcheon-si, Gyeongbuk, which was founded earlier this year. Farmers, prospective returnees to farming, students, and anyone can experience autonomous operation tractors that work without human control. The center is the only autonomous tractor experience facility in Korea.
Customers can experience major models such as the MT7 SmarTrek, XP, and MT5. With the MT7 SmarTrek, ridges can be installed. Ridges refer to spaces created by plowing rice paddies or fields and piling up soil. Purchases can also be made on-site.

The MT7 SmarTrek is the first commercially available autonomous tractor in Korea. It is being sold to public institutions, agricultural cooperatives, and general farmers. It is a Level 3 product capable of controlling straight driving, turning, and implements, and is equipped with obstacle detection functions essential for Level 4, which corresponds to 'unmanned operation.' It reduces working time by 17% and increases yield by 8% compared to conventional tractors.
