Minor Issues Addressed Immediately to Ensure Thorough Accident Prevention
Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) completed safety inspections of construction sites and disaster-vulnerable facilities, which had been conducted since the 7th to prepare for the severe cold winter, on the 24th.
This inspection was organized to prevent various accidents by preemptively improving the working environment at construction sites and to safely protect the lives and property of residents.
The inspections were carried out through on-site visits by members of the Seoul Architectural Safety Advisory Committee, experts in construction and safety. The inspection targets included 32 sites in total: 5 large and public construction sites and 27 small to medium-sized construction sites. Additionally, inspections were conducted on 261 disaster-vulnerable facilities such as multi-family housing, private hazardous materials sites, and vacant houses.
The inspection items included ▲whether safety measures were prioritized ▲any abnormalities in facilities such as water supply and sewage ▲whether winter construction plans were established to prevent pipe freezing, thoroughly checking factors that could threaten residents' safety. Minor issues were addressed immediately on-site. No significant corrective actions were found.
