President Yoon Suk-yeol, who is visiting Paris, France to engage in the final bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo, had a phone conversation on the 24th (local time) at the request of President-elect Javier Milei of Argentina.
During the call, President Yoon told President-elect Milei, "I hope that the friendly and cooperative relationship between our two countries will continue to develop after the inauguration of the new Argentine government on December 10," according to the presidential office.
President-elect Milei responded, "I have long admired South Korea's economic development," and added, "I want to develop a cooperative relationship with the president while learning a lot from South Korea's experience."

President Yoon and President-elect Milei also confirmed that since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1962, the two countries have developed a friendly and cooperative relationship based on shared values, and agreed to deepen the scope and depth of cooperation between the two countries based on the values of liberal democracy and the market economy system.
