Gangnam-gu Offers Free Delivery Motorcycle Inspections in Partnership with Coupang Eats Service
Free Inspection for 200 Two-Wheelers at Yeoksam Station Gangnam Mobile Workers' Shelter Branch 2 on 29-30
Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) signed a business agreement with the delivery service specialist company Coupang Eats Service on the 23rd, and will conduct a free motorcycle inspection safety campaign at the Gangnam Mobile Workers' Shelter Branch 2 on the 29th and 30th.
At the agreement ceremony held at the district office on the 23rd, both organizations agreed to carry out various cooperative projects to create a safe working environment for mobile workers. Plans include ▲supporting necessary supplies such as safety gear for mobile workers ▲awareness improvement campaigns for mobile workers ▲providing support services such as legal consultations, cultural, and educational activities for mobile workers.
Accordingly, on the 29th and 30th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., a winter season free motorcycle inspection safety campaign will be held at Gangnam Mobile Workers' Shelter (Alive Station) Branch 2 (behind Yeoksam Station Gangnam Finance Center) in collaboration with Coupang Eats Service and the Korea Motorcycle Association. Mechanics affiliated with the Korea Motorcycle Association will conduct safety inspections on motorcycles for 200 mobile workers who applied in advance, and will replace consumables such as brakes and headlights free of charge.
Additionally, Coupang Eats Service will provide winter safety supplies such as helmet anti-fog spray and smartphone touch gloves to promote traffic accident prevention and raise safety awareness during the winter season.
