Gwangju Bank Sponsors White Rice for Cheonwon Bapsang's 'Hae Tteuneun Sikdang'
Gwangju Bank recently celebrated its 55th anniversary by donating 55 bags of rice to ‘Hae Tteuneun Sikdang’ in Daein Market, Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
On the 24th, Gwangju Bank President Ko Byung-il stated, “We sincerely appreciate Hae Tteuneun Sikdang for helping provide meals to those in need at an affordable cost.”
He added, “Gwangju Bank will also continue to engage with the local community and carry out consistent sharing activities to revitalize every corner of the community.”
‘Hae Tteuneun Sikdang’ has been selling meals for only 1,000 won for 13 years, providing warm and hearty meals to neighbors in need.
It is known as a symbolic place of the Gwangju community where the spirit of sharing lives on.
