Chuncheon-si and Industrial Complex Sign Cooperation Agreement for Revitalization
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation will take charge of managing all industrial complexes and supporting businesses in Chuncheon City. The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (President Lee Sang-hoon) announced on the 23rd that it signed a "Joint Cooperation Agreement for the Revitalization of Chuncheon City Industrial Complexes" with Chuncheon City, aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of industrial complexes within Chuncheon.
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation manages 66 industrial complexes, including national complexes. It is promoting various support projects to strengthen the capabilities of industrial complexes and resident companies, such as ▲promotion of smart green industrial complexes ▲redevelopment projects for aging industrial complexes ▲customized new industrial complex development ▲resident management and regulatory innovation support ▲projects to enhance the competitiveness of industrial clusters.

View original imageThrough this agreement, the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation will newly establish a Chuncheon branch and begin entrusted management of 16 industrial complexes within the city, including Hupyeong General Industrial Complex, starting in 2024. It will also provide specialized services for innovation and advancement, such as industrial complex resident support services, digital transformation, and low-carbon promotion for aging complexes.
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation will manage all types of industrial complexes for the first time by taking charge of the management of urban high-tech industrial complexes designated within the city to foster advanced industries. Additionally, to transform aging industrial complexes focused solely on production functions into complexes attractive to young people, it will actively promote private investment attraction and significantly expand convenience, cultural, and welfare facilities, thereby actively enhancing the competitiveness of industrial complexes within Chuncheon City.
