Korea Rail Network Authority Receives Presidential Citation for Talent Development in National Quality Awards
The Korea Rail Network Authority announced on the 23rd that it received the Presidential Citation at the ‘2023 National Quality Award (Talent Development Division)’ ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Standards Association.
The National Quality Award is a government commendation that recognizes companies contributing to the enhancement of national industrial competitiveness by achieving quality management outcomes such as quality improvement, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, customer satisfaction, and talent development in industrial sites.

View original imageThe Rail Network Authority received high scores in the evaluation categories of management ‘leadership’ and training ‘infrastructure,’ including clear commitment from management to talent development and securing expertise in dedicated personnel and education organizations.
It was also recognized for its efforts such as proactive business promotion based on job expertise, establishing talent standards and executing training based on core values, investing in talent development including the construction of a new Talent Development Center, and implementing a personnel system focused on job difficulty and performance, earning the commendation.
