On the 21st at 5 p.m., Jo Seong-myeong, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, met with Won Hee-ryong, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, at the Land Development Exhibition Hall meeting room to discuss major issues in Gangnam-gu.
The district requested the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's cooperation to ensure smooth progress of local issues such as the installation of an entrance at Yangjae Station on the GTX-C line, extension of the Wirye-Gwacheon Line branch, and the establishment of new stations. Minister Won stated that he would actively support the areas where cooperation is possible.

Jo Seong-myeong, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, said, “Gangnam is currently at a turning point with large-scale development projects such as the Yeongdong-daero complex development and revitalization of reconstruction.” He added, “We will strengthen cooperation with related organizations such as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Seoul Metropolitan Government to ensure that the long-awaited projects and major issues of the residents are successfully carried out.”
