Dongduk Women’s University Lifelong Education Center Establishes Modeling Major

The Lifelong Education Center affiliated with Dongduk Women’s University will establish a modeling major starting from the first semester of next year. The modeling major aims to nurture talent through a curriculum focused on modeling and practical training. Equipped with the latest educational facilities and faculty, it plans to offer one-on-one consulting and education that highlights individual personalities and strengths, as well as provide real audition opportunities. Additionally, support will be provided to develop SNS content creation skills to widely showcase the acquired capabilities. Anyone with a high school diploma or higher, regardless of gender, can apply, and transfer admissions are open to those who meet the academic qualifications for each grade level.
Samyook University Publishes ‘Customer Service Manual’

Samyook University has become the first university in Korea to develop and publish a ‘Customer Service Manual’ in book form. The 136-page manual is composed of five chapters: ▲Understanding Customer Satisfaction ▲Service Communication ▲Customer Response Techniques ▲Stress Management Methods ▲Standard Response Language by Department. The manual was created with the goal of improving university administrative services and increasing customer satisfaction for students and their families, related organizations, other business partners, and the general public. Based on the manual, Samyook University plans to conduct training for staff in key customer service departments and continuously apply it within the campus.

Catholic University Holds ‘Innovation Idea Competition’

Catholic University held the 1st CUK Innovation Idea Competition. This event, organized to establish a student-centered educational innovation strategy, was conducted under the theme ‘Educational Innovation Ideas Utilizing Spaces within Catholic University.’ A total of 115 participants applied, and eight teams were finally selected based on criteria such as the necessity and value of the idea, innovativeness, challenge, and feasibility. The grand prize was awarded to students Park Hyun-jung, Han Sang-hoon, and Joo Su-a for their proposal titled ‘Startup Shared Lounge LOUD-UP,’ which suggested a space design for generating innovative ideas and the creation of a dedicated app for active community communication.
