100 Companies Selected Through Online Voting
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Lee Young) announced that it has finalized the selection of 100 outstanding small and micro enterprises to participate in the Snowflake Companion Festival to be held this December. A total of 578 companies applied to participate, resulting in a final competition rate of 5.8 to 1.
In particular, for this Snowflake Companion Festival, an online public vote was conducted targeting 200 companies initially shortlisted by private experts such as retail merchandisers (MDs). A total of 10,000 people voted for their favorite products, ultimately selecting 100 companies.
Popular products include washable electric blankets, foot warmers, and various other items that share warm comfort during the year-end season. Among the selected companies, about 70 will participate in win-win and sharing activities during the festival period in December, such as ongoing discount events for vulnerable groups and donating a portion of sales from festival products.

The selected companies will receive support for various online and offline promotional events and publicity from December 4 to December 31, the duration of the festival. Opportunities for promotion such as dedicated online exhibitions and live commerce will also be provided. Minister Lee Young said, "We hope that everyone can share warm comfort through the upcoming year-end Snowflake Companion Festival."
