Dongjak-gu Partners with Four Parties for Youth Drug Safety Zone

Dongjak-gu (Mayor Park Il-ha) announced on the 22nd that it has signed a four-party business agreement with ▲ Dongjak Police Station ▲ Dongjak Gwanak Office of Education ▲ Dongjak-gu Pharmaceutical Association to safely protect local youth from drugs and help them live healthy lives.
This business agreement was promoted to provide proper information and harm awareness about drugs to youth and to implement effective education and publicity.
First, starting next year, the district plans to conduct small-scale lectures for students visiting the Youth Police School established at Dongjak Police Station. The plan is to diversify the scale of lectures to carry out preventive education without blind spots.
In addition, the district will conduct drug prevention education not only for youth but also for parents and school staff, and the Dongjak Gwanak Office of Education will promote the program to encourage participation in the education.
Furthermore, the Dongjak-gu Pharmaceutical Association will take charge of discovering instructors, strengthening instructor capabilities, and developing educational programs, establishing a mutually active cooperation system.

Park Il-ha, Mayor of Dongjak-gu, said, “Through this agreement, we plan to strengthen the drug eradication and prevention system within Dongjak-gu,” adding, “We will strive to raise awareness of drugs throughout the local community and protect the safety of residents from drugs.”
