Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station Invites External Experts for Special Infection Control Training
On the 21st, Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station held a special training session on infection control and capacity building by inviting external experts in the large conference room on the 3rd floor of the main building.
This training was conducted twice targeting paramedics and pumbulance personnel who are frequently exposed to infectious diseases during field activities, aiming to minimize exposure to infectious diseases through specialized education and to strengthen infection control and field response capabilities.
Dr. Jin Park, an emergency medicine specialist at Gwangju Hyundai Hospital, was invited as the instructor to provide education on ▲types of infectious diseases to be cautious of during field activities ▲prevention methods and infection control know-how ▲infection control strategies for each case during emergency transport.
