Hyundai Green Food announced on the 21st that it received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Commendation at the '2023 Livelihood-Type Suitable Industry Win-Win Effort Outstanding Contributor Awards.'
Hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Win-Win Growth Committee, this award system recognizes companies that faithfully implement the 'Livelihood-Type Suitable Industry System,' which restricts the entry of large and medium-sized enterprises into certain industries and product categories to protect small business owners.
Hyundai Green Food was highly evaluated for its efforts such as completely halting the external distribution and production of PB (private brand) products corresponding to designated livelihood-type suitable industry items like sauces and noodles, and purchasing products from small and medium-sized enterprises.
In addition, the company operates a free consulting program to improve the hygiene management capabilities of small and medium-sized partner companies facing difficulties due to a shortage of food safety specialists, and carries out various activities for mutual growth with SMEs.
