Ashraf Al-Qudra, spokesperson for the Gaza Strip Health Ministry, said, "The Israeli occupation forces airstruck the Indonesia Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip, killing 12 people including injured patients." He added, "The Israeli military is surrounding the hospital using tanks."
The Israeli military has not issued an official statement regarding the health ministry's claims. Israel, which has claimed that Hamas uses the hospital for military purposes, announced earlier this month that it had obtained information about Hamas tunnels beneath the hospital.
