Production of a Song Representing Hwasun by Composer Gong Jeongsik, Winner of the Public Contest
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 20th that it will hold a lyrics contest titled "Singing Hwasun" for one month from the 10th of this month to December 8th.
This contest is for creating lyrics that sing about Hwasun's attractions and tourism, aimed at raising public interest in Hwasun-gun and promoting its policies.
The theme can be anything tangible or intangible symbolizing Hwasun, including its history, culture, famous paintings, tourism, festivals, and other free topics.
The lyrics should be original, composed of two verses, and about three minutes in length.
Anyone nationwide can participate, but only one entry per person is allowed.
The prize money totals 7 million KRW, with 3 million KRW for the grand prize, 1 million KRW for the excellence award, and 500,000 KRW each for two encouragement awards.

Applications can be submitted by filling out the application form and consent form available on the Hwasun-gun official website notice board, and sending the entry via email, visit, or mail. The submission period is from December 4th to 8th, and entries arriving by 6 PM on the last day will be accepted.
