Pyeongtaek City to Hold 'Holiday Party' on the 25th at Songtan International Exchange Center
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 20th that it will hold a 'Holiday Party' at the Songtan International Exchange Center located in Sinjang-dong on the 25th.
Hosted by the city and organized by the Pyeongtaek International Exchange Foundation, this event is a family-oriented celebration themed around American year-end holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. The city explained that the event was prepared to allow U.S. military families stationed in Korea and local citizens to experience and share the holiday culture of the United States together.
Under the subtitle "Find the Best Costume!", a costume contest themed around Christmas will be held and awards will be given.
Additionally, various activities enjoyable for family visitors have been arranged, including hands-on programs like Christmas wreath making, an American carnival game zone, magic shows, recreation, and a potluck party where participants bring their favorite foods to share.
