Uljin-gun Implements Emergency Interest Support Program for Fisheries Management Funds
Applications Accepted from November 20 to December 8, Up to 30% Support
Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will accept applications for the emergency interest support project for fisheries management funds from the 20th to December 8th.
This project was prepared to promote stable fisheries management for fishermen who are experiencing difficulties due to poor catch, excessive fisheries expenses caused by fuel price increases, deterioration of fisheries management, and a decline in seafood consumption.
A total project cost of 210 million KRW (63 million KRW from the provincial government, 147 million KRW from the county government) will be invested to support up to 30% of the interest burden borne by fishermen on fisheries management fund loans, and it is expected that many fishermen will benefit.
The support targets are fishermen (including corporations) who have an address in Gyeongbuk Province during the support period and have had a business site in Uljin-gun within the last two years, and who have borrowed fisheries management funds from the Fisheries Cooperative. Eligibility will be verified to select recipients and finalize the support amount.
