Jeonnam Police Provide Traffic Management and Transportation Convenience for CSAT Examinees
Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency and the Autonomous Police Committee (Chairman Jo Man-hyung) announced that on the day of the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), the 16th, they safely transported a total of 119 examinees in 8 cases to the test sites upon receiving requests for assistance to support the examinees' timely arrival.
On that day, Jeonnam police deployed a total of 385 personnel, including traffic and local police officers, riot police, and exemplary drivers, from 6:00 AM to 8:10 AM to conduct special traffic management at examinee routes, bus stops, and test sites.
In Hwasun, around 7:10 AM, three transport buses carrying 112 examinees were swiftly and safely escorted to the test site by patrol cars.
In Sinan, when a vehicle carrying examinees broke down in Jeungdo during transit, a patrol car was used to ensure timely arrival at Muan High School test site, covering approximately 50 km.
Notably, there was a dedicated policing case where an examinee who mistakenly went to Muan Namak High School due to a test site error was promptly transported 8.4 km to Mokpo Mariahoe High School.
As a result, examinees and their parents expressed great gratitude, saying they were able to take the exam safely thanks to the police officers' help.

Jeonnam police stated, “We plan to continue traffic duty for examinees until 6 PM after the CSAT ends, and we hope for good results for the examinees who did their best until the end.”
