Nong-eochon Gong Jangseong Branch Conducts 'CROSS-Inspection Team' Activities

The Jangseong Branch of Korea Rural Community Corporation (Branch Manager Kim Jae-jin) announced on the 16th that it will actively implement the activities of the ‘CROSS-Inspection Team’ to conduct mutual safety management inspections at construction sites within its jurisdiction in order to proactively respond to the frequently occurring safety accidents and prevent accidents in advance.

The existing monthly ‘Safety and Health Council’ activities have been expanded and reorganized into the ‘CROSS-Inspection Team’ (as of October 12, 2023) to activate practical mutual inspections focused on sites between our corporation and contractors, enhance safety inspection capabilities, and strengthen self-inspection activities.

The CROSS-Inspection Team consists of a total of 20 members, including the branch manager, department heads, construction supervision staff, safety management personnel, and site managers by district from the branch office, site representatives from contractors within the jurisdiction, and industrial safety instructors responsible for disaster prevention technical guidance services for each district from outside. They will conduct mutual cross-inspections of all six construction sites within the jurisdiction every month.

Through on-site inspections conducted the day before, the team directly toured and inspected vulnerable areas of safety management at local sites, immediately identifying issues at the project sites, improving and correcting minor matters, and providing an opportunity to discuss difficulties in safety management at each site, share solutions to problems, and broaden mutual understanding.

Branch Manager Kim Jae-jin said, “We will do our best to strengthen practical CROSS-Inspection Team activities at local project sites to fundamentally prevent safety accidents and create safer workplaces.”
