HL D&I Hanra Achieves 'A Grade' in Comprehensive ESG Evaluation
HL D&I Hanra announced on the 16th that it has achieved an A grade, one level higher than last year, in the ‘2023 ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Comprehensive Evaluation’ released by the Korea ESG Standards Institute. In the ‘S’ category, which represents social responsibility such as human rights protection and labor environment improvement, it received an A+ grade.
Under the safety and health management goal of ‘full participation of all employees in safety and health,’ HL D&I Hanra conducts various safety and health activities, including holding a monthly resolution meeting to eradicate serious accidents and operating a mobile risk reporting center.
In the environmental sector, the company set detailed action goals for major environmental issues and strengthened its environmental management system to realize a low-carbon, eco-friendly workplace. Additionally, to respond to climate change, it declared participation in and support for the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures). In the governance sector, it established a governance charter and conducted board evaluations to promote board-centered responsible management.
