Lotte Wellfood announced on the 16th that it has opened the 11th branch of the local children's center, 'Lotte Wellfood Happy Home,' in Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do.

The name of the 11th Happy Home branch was decided as 'Gongnip Gunnam Local Children's Center.' With a total floor area of 156㎡ (approximately 50 pyeong), from the initial construction stage, the opinions of local residents and children were actively reflected to transform the second floor of the former Gunnam-myeon office into a facility where children can freely run and receive education.
Happy Home is Lotte Wellfood's representative social contribution activity that builds local children's centers providing spaces for various learning, cultural experiences, and leisure for children who have no after-school childcare facilities.
Lotte Wellfood also operates the 'Nutrition Support Project' and 'Happy Picnic' programs for children using Happy Home. The Nutrition Support Project provides children with nutrition kits including multivitamins, seasonal fruits, and nuts, and supports proper health knowledge and various physical activities. Happy Picnic is a program supporting children's cultural activities such as tours of Lotte Tower and affiliated companies for children using Happy Home.

Starting in 2013 in Wanju, Jeonbuk, it has been established annually in Yecheon, Gyeongbuk; Yeongwol, Gangwon; Hongseong, Chungnam; Yeonggwang, Jeonnam; Bonghwa, Gyeongbuk; Taean, Chungnam; Sinan, Jeonnam; Saha-gu, Busan; Yeongwol, Gangwon; and again this year in Yeonggwang, Jeonnam.
