Samsung D Unveils Highest Quality 'QD-OLED' at Game Show G-Star
QD-OLED Equipped on AMD Booth Monitors
Samsung Display is showcasing the excellent gaming picture quality of QD-OLED to gamers worldwide at the international game exhibition 'G-star'.
From the 16th to the 19th, Samsung Display is holding a QD-OLED experience event featuring Dell Technologies' 'Alienware 34 Curved QD-OLED Gaming Monitor' in collaboration with American semiconductor company AMD at 'G-star 2023' held at BEXCO in Busan. This event is taking place as AMD, collaborating with numerous game developers and hardware manufacturers to set up its G-star booth, chose Samsung Display as its display partner.

Visitors to the AMD booth at the G-star venue can experience various games on Dell's gaming monitor equipped with Samsung Display's QD-OLED. They can vividly enjoy the graphics of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Black Desert' and the action casual battle game 'Party Animals', as well as preview unreleased games such as 'Warhaven' and 'inZOI'.
Monitors equipped with QD-OLED have faster response times than LCD monitors and no screen tearing or stuttering. They also boast rich color expression. There is minimal image degradation or color distortion. They support frame synchronization technology (Adaptive Sync), which eliminates input lag and screen tearing that occur when video devices deliver content to the display. Among self-emissive displays, QD-OLED is the only one that meets all of AMD's highest-grade requirements for frame synchronization technology.
A Samsung Display official said, "As the gaming industry advances, consumer expectations for picture quality and response speed continue to rise," adding, "We will continue to provide opportunities to experience QD-OLED through various collaborations so that gamers can enjoy an immersive experience on a different level."
